Site Manager- Tantus Towers
Dhaljit (Dal) has worked in Property Management with CAPREIT since 2012. Dal began her career as a Site Administrator but was quickly promoted to Site Manager and currently works at 810 St. Andrew's Street in New Westminster. Dal is the Site Manager for 456 units spread out across 10 buildings in New Westminster and Burnaby. Her achievements were recognized by her peers and managers as they nominated her for On Site Employee of the Year award at the Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations (CFAA) Awards Program. On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the CFAA held their awards dinner gala and on that night Dal won the On Site Employee of the Year Award!
In December of 2017 Dal was also named a CAPREIT ACES for her hard work! An ACES stands for: Above and beyond, Conscientious, Exceptional Service. Dal demonstrated all of these qualities and more throughout 2017, and has continued to impress throughout 2018! Dal has a contagiously positive attitude and is known to motivate others.
Dal relishes a new challenge and is always the first to volunteer for various projects and in training new staff. As a senior employee with a wealth of knowledge in property management, the new staff often look up to Dal as a mentor.
Furthermore, Dal is an extremely organized individual. This quality has transformed rental offices into proper functioning and professional spaces to work.
Dal is also very involved in her position as Site Manager both with staff and the residents in her buildings. Dal hosts tenant appreciation gatherings quarterly and has created great relationships with her tenants by doing so. She is also the first to be involved with CAPREIT team building events, whether it be manning the barbeque at the company picnic, cheering on her team at the annual bowling event or encouraging others to participate and interact during various training sessions.
Dal is a Site Manager who is an exceptional team player, who has received praise from happy customers and vendors, who leads by example and who has become a mentor for coworkers. It comes to no surprise that Dal has been recognized on a national level. Congratulations, Dal!
