Recycling Matters

CAP REIT Apartment Recycling Programs

Apartment owners and residents haven’t always done their part in the past to help save our environment. This includes things like electrical and water conservation, alternative energy source exploration, solid waste disposal and recycling. The impact of not doing these things is costing each of us and our children in terms of creating a clean, healthy environment for the future.

On average, apartments recycle only
13% of solid waste, with your help CAP REIT
is committed to changing this statistic.

Extended local recycling programs are starting with Toronto

Help the environment by being conscious of the waste you generate and how it is disposed. All CAP REIT properties have recycling programs in the residences.
Ask us about what can be recycled in the GTA and contact your local municipal office in other areas of the country as we work to expand our information to residents:

If you are interested email recycling@capreit.net with your building address and contact information and we will contact you if opportunities become available.

All CAP REIT properties

are practising recycling.

We have initiated a 70% waste reduction program and are focusing on the GTA and then spreading throughout the country.
