Leasing Specialist

 

Number of Positions: 2
Locations: Calgary NW and Calgary SE

 

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining an occupancy rate of 100%. This is achieved through demonstrating excellent skills in: tenant relations, communication, sales, administration and organization. The Leasing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction. As a Leasing Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining and entering information correctly into the system with respect to their lease dates, rent payments, etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate account of unit availability and ensuring inspections are performed on vacant units. Finally you will communicate with the Operations Manager and Site staff regarding building and tenant issues.

 

Qualifications:

-Demonstrated history of outstanding customer relations skills
-Computer proficiency
-Excellent written and verbal skills
-Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi task
-Flexibility to work varying shifts within our hours of operation
-Contributes to team atmosphere

Marketing Coordinator

 

Number of Positions: 1
Location: Montreal Regional Office

Reports To:  Vice-President, Sales and Marketing with dotted line to regional AVP, Operations

Responsibilities:

-Contribute to the formulation of the marketing strategy for Quebec locations
-Gain approval and co-ordinate with vendors for print and online advertising, which entails booking, renewing, and changing ads, as well as liaising with vendors on ad design. Coordinate and track advertising success
-Explore and obtain information on all prospective print and online sources.
-Coordinate payments on credit and liaise with vendors regarding A/P invoice problems and queries.
-Respond to, log and coordinate action on all inbound email sales opportunities
-Liaise with head office for design of marketing materials for direct mail, communications etc
-Work with head office team on web marketing
-Contribute to the writing of the newsletters and other materials.
-Aid in pricing of suites through regular surveys and analysis
-Aid local operation managers with marketing initiatives and programs such as events, tenant targeting, renewal management etc

Qualifications

-Marketing or Business University or College Education
-Fully bilingual in French and English
-Excellent organization skills
-Independent worker and team player
-Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Adobe suite knowledge is ideal).  Past history with unique and proprietary software programs
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
-Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
-Experience in residential real estate is highly desirable

Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator

 

Number of Positions: 1
Location: Montreal Regional Office

This role is primarily responsible for the recruitment of employees within a prescribed portfolio, to assist and deal with employee relations issues and to assist with training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

 

-Responds to day to day general inquiries regarding HR Policies and Procedures and referring issues within the HR team as appropriate
-Discusses and resolves employee problems; counsels employees and supervisors concerning performance and disciplinary matters; reviews and makes recommendations as to discipline/discharge of employees.
-Support the recruitment process including advertising, tracking and responding to candidates, as well as arranging for temporary (agency) staffing as required
-Evaluates, screens, and interviews applicants for current vacancies for assigned jobs; makes referral of qualified applicants to department managers and/or supervisors; recommends salary to be offered when hiring decision has been made.
-Coordinates all background inquiries according to Company policy including reference checks, credit and criminal records inquiries
-Participates in orientation/training for all new employees.
-Assists and monitors staff evaluation procedures as per Company policy
-Maintain employee files to ensure they remain current, organized and maintained according to applicable legislation
-Conducts exit interviews for terminating employees
-Provide support to various HR related projects
-Coordinates payroll requirements as required within a prescribed portfolio
-Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

-A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times.
-Mature judgment, strong principles and ability to exercise tact, discretion and diplomacy at all times.
-Logical and analytical, with strong planning and organizational skills.
-Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively and with conflicting deadlines.
-Ability to be flexible, work with interruptions, and shift priorities of work as required.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees of the Corporation and the general public.
